Hike to a mountain top in Eyjafjörður

Akureyri is located in the longest fjord of Iceland, surrounded by mountains and sea. Hiking those mountains far away from the crowd is a rewarding way to explore this untouched region of Iceland. Every hike in our fjord is a treat for body and soul. And it is our pleasure to take you off the beaten track and away from the crowd. 


There are many mountain tops to choose from in our fjord.  Some trails are marked, others aren't. Some trails are pretty steep, others are less of a challenge. Whatever expectations and limits are, there wil be hike for you in this fjord.


If you are spending more days in Akureyri, you can combine this hike with other tours that we offer. 


Tour Description:

We pick you up and take you to the starting point of the hike. Unless you prefer meeting at the starting point. If the hike takes a whole day, we have a picnic on a scenic place on the trail. 


Difficulty Level:

Easy, moderate, challenging, depending on your choice

The elevation gain varies from 400m (1.200ft) up to 1.200m (3.600ft)
